STORY OF GAJRAJ

What comes to your head when you think of the largest animal of our planet? There is no predator strong enough to challenge this mighty animal. Even baby elephants weigh 120 kgs (260 lbs) at birth. One of the smartest animal on the planet, elephants are knows for their skills with which they use tools. Some elephants, when trained, can use a paintbrush and paint pictures better than art zeros like me. They are also one of the only animals on the planet to have mirror self recognition skills.Such an amazing animal but do you know how elephants die? To understand that, you need to understand how they eat their food. Did you know, 60% of all the food that an elephant eats lives its body undigested. An adult elephant can easily consume anywhere between 140 to 270 kgs (300-600 lbs) a day. Their diet consists of leaves, bamboo, twigs, tree branches, etc. To crush this food, elephants use molars (their set of teeth at the back of their mouth). Elephants, unlike other mammals, do not grow baby teeth which mature into permanent teeth. They have cycles of tooth rotation through out their life. Think of molar as a conveyor belt which crushes everything on the back of elephants tongue. The elephant molars wear down with use and the remains fall out. When an elephant becomes very old, the last set of teeth is worn to stumps, and it must rely on softer foods to chew. Very elderly elephants often spend their last years exclusively in marshy areas where they can feed on soft wet grasses. Eventually, when the last teeth fall out, the elephant is unable to eat and dies of starvation.I was shocked to learn this about elephants but thats how mother nature manages life on this planet. How else would an animal so huge (known to take down rhinos, known to have no natural predators) die? Another great lesson from mother nature which, like always, does not fail to impress.I clicked this picture with my Nikon point and shoot camera at the Singapore Zoo on my most recent visit. I am hoping to learn photography and eventually move on to a DSLR camera and have much more control on the photo's elements. Please feel free to leave a comment or tips if you have any.I love elephants. I hope we all can do our bit to save the elephants.

My Thoughts On A Exclusive Topic

The Indian state of Uttar Pradesh said that female students would be banned from wearing jeans and other Western clothes .
Means this is the only solution to stop crime against women and sexual harassment by male classmates? And now the new regulation for Girl who choose to wear jeans will be expelled from the college.
But i am not agree with them .Banning any clothing will certainly never solve the issue of crime against womans.
I Think it was yr 2002 or 03 whenThe all school was imposed a strict dress code for girl students to wear Eastern dresses such as shalwar- qameez or loose trousers. Dupatas was made mandatory.Once again a new "fatwass" for college girls.Let me state the facts first. Ironically, this ban of jeans and other ‘provocative dresses’ has been imposed in the ‘only girls colleges’ where boys stand at the gates and pass comments especially those girls who wear jeans and other ‘provocative dresses’.Of course, i will not think of shooing away the men, (after all it would cost them a good gatekeeper ) so get the girls a dress code!
Will these people understand that men who letch around are mentally sick and they are pervert by nature and their psyche is immune to the dress code of a girl?
This gentleman,(a professor or some educationist) who was on ‘Live India’ TV Channel supporting the ban and tried to argue with a student union member…….here it goes….

EDUCATIONIST : “Jeans are provocative in nature and distract men”

GIRL: “But the ban has been imposed on girls studying in only-girls colleges

EDUCATIONIST : “But men stand outside the gates”

GIRL: “Men are there all over the world; where all will you go about imposing bans?”

EDUCATIONIST : “Colleges are supposed to be a decent place and jeans are not!”

GIRL: “You cannot impose your thoughts on others, let the students and parents decide”
“This is illogical, there is no co-relation”
The anchor interrupted, “sir, all this cannot be said is today’s age anymore.”

EDUCATIONIST : “Well, we are concerned about the safety of the women, hence all these steps”

Then there followed a hell lot of debate with everyone accusing this man (I guess he is into active politics as well and a mother of a daughter asked him to concentrate on other policies that might benefit the nation.)
And out man decided to play the game once again.

EDUCATIONIST : “All I am saying is that these jeans are not hygienic also! And that is the main reason. They are tight and not good for the body. They might cause some serious problems.” (Let him submit a report on this.)
GIRL: Sir, you cannot talk in these terms because you are a public figure yourself and I have seen you in western clothes.

The phone line got disconnected! No prizes for guessing who banged it!!

Well, these unhygienic jeans will not harm the men, right? They can continue wearing jeans! Men shall not be asked to stop letching at women, they can continue doing so. i think what that "educationalist" has said is quite true ! ... girls wearing "jeans" surely is a distraction for boys !
ab dekho naa ... yeah zaalim jawaani ki kartoott ... kudiyaa to bahut "manmoohak" hoti hai jeans main ... to zaahir hai, ladke apne aapko samhaalye to kaise???
...then please it's request that do girls get distracted when they see boys wearing jeans ?? ... if yes ... then it should be banned for boys also !
As far as the girls are concerned, I am sure all of us have heard these silly arguments so many times that we really do not care. Then why did I care to write this crap?
But really i want to say

MY THOUGHTs..........On A breaking news

Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja has been questioned in connection with a rape case. Ahuja's teenaged maid has filed a complaint alleging that the actor had raped her while they were alone at the actor's flat on Sunday.
It's really a breaking news for me......He's one of mine favorite on his acting. How can he do this?
Shiney Ahuja (born 15 May 1973) is an Indian actor, who won Filmfare Best Debut Award for Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi in 2006.
Ahuja was born in New Delhi. His father was in the Indian army and mother hails from Kerala. His early schooling was at St. Xavier's School, Ranchi, whereafter, he studied at The Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi. His initial plans were to join the armed forces. While studying at Hans Raj College University of Delhi from 1992-1996, he was attracted to Theater and joined the Barry Johns Acting School in Delhi. Sometime after 1996, he moved to Mumbai.Ahuja is married to Anupam Ahuja and has a daughter.
But what's wrong with this man........ohh i am sorry "What's wrong with his maid.she was born in MUmbai and only 18-19 years old.she have neither army nor well educated family background.
when i shaw guy's comment on Ahuja's current news i was totaly shocked yar the commnet was something like that"shahini aisa nhe kar sakte.ye os nokrani ke 100% koi chal hai.ek baat ye ke shahini ke liye kya koi ladkiyo ki kami thi jo ke vo os nokrani ka rape karega.vo nokrani shahini se paise hadap karna chahte hai.shahini lagta hai tumhare upar sani dev bhgwan ka prakoop ho gaya.juldi se sani dev ko khush karne ke liye koi prsad chdhao ".
Every pepole ca'nt understand a woman's feelings and her moral.
I do'nt know who is the lier Ahuja or his maid. Now this case have running in the court and media.
But i think so a rapist should get capital punishment for this gruesome crime, especially if he is a celebrities.

MY THOUGHTs ..........On Tantra Mantra

One night I had awaken from a terrible dream. After a few seconds from awakening, I opened my eyes and saw this white figure that looked to be a little girl. I had closed my eyes in fear and when I peeped them open once more, she was in a different position! I was too afraid that if I opened my eyes again that she would be right next to my bed! So I kept my eyes closed and went back to sleep. The next morning I told my sister and mother what had happened, even about the dream. They didn't believe me and said I was just seeing things and that from having that dream I was imagining the figure.
That night, I had again awaken but not from a dream... My body can feel things and when it feels there is a spirit around my body will wake me, I saw her again! I was terrified! I didn't know what to do so, once again, I closed my eyes and tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't, not with the fear I was feeling. Once I heard my mom was awake, I told her I was seeing her again and she said "it's ok just try to go to sleep please". So I tried and it worked. But believe it or not, I kept seeing her! So the next night, after seeing her for three nights in a row, my mom and I prayed to that girl to leave me alone, and she did.
My mother said "Maybe God asked her to come to heaven...". I agreed, it made a lot of sense if you ask me! So that night I prayed to that girl to leave me alone and that I never wanted to encounter her again. Ever since then I haven't had any sign of her being here but I do know she is watching over me."LAST saturday my mother was forced me to go for temple 'PISAACH MOCHAN" AND a guru give me a black thread. Now my life has been better with out her encounters and I'm becoming happier and more safe. But I'm still afraid of spirits.

Ganga continues to face pollution

The condition of the Ganga is deteriorating by the day. There is more sand in it. Though it is declared a 'National River', no efforts are being made to clean it. If water is released from the dam, then only the water level will increase in the river.

Problems for the River Ganga are far from over. It remains immensely polluted. Filled with chemical wastes, sewage and even the remains of human and animal corpses, it poses major health risks to around 400 million people living by its side and all others who benefit from it.
